Reflections of a Tear-Soaked Soul

 

Raindrops fall from a clouded sky;
Teardrops fall from my clouded eye.
Sky is coated in sheets of gray;
Heart is coated in pain today.
Lightning cuts the black facade;
Razors cut soul's barricade.
Thunder rumbles through the air;
Evil rumbles through a nightmare.
Wind attacks the slumb'ring night;
Pain attacks the hope-filled light.
Earth is soaked in raindrops blue;
I am soaked in memories of you.
Sky shows above, I feel below -
Reflections of a tear-soaked soul.
