Lovers' Dance

I felt a kiss upon my cheek
As dreams were chased away.
A beam of sun bathed sleepy eyes
To greet another day.

A smiling face heralds my yawn,
A merry tune my frown.
A cheerful hand sweeps back blanket,
A grin at my nightgown.

Another kiss, this time my lips,
Chased all my frowns away.
Fall back to bed, the lovers' dance
Will keep us here today!
