Alone

I walk alone along the beach,
The faint line between sand and sea.
I have no special place to reach,
No particular place to be.

I sit alone upon the sand,
Watching the slow waves rise and fall
As if pushed by a hidden hand,
Their endless tale the seas lone call.

I swim alone in the ocean,
My body touching sea and sky,
Pulled by the tide's restless motion
As beneath their dark depths I fly.

I sail alone upon the main,
Another shore my feet have flown.
Flow on through sun, flow on through rain,
And leave my beach behind... alone.
