Before I get what it is I need?
How many lines must be drawn
Before the pain fades and is gone?
How many tears must I shed
Before I feel alive, not dead?
How many questions must I ask
Before the answers I unmask?
How many laps must I pace
Before my past I can erase?
How many lessons must I learn
Before the flames no longer burn?
