Wish You Were Here

I wish you were here -
No stumbling, no tear,
No curse upon me,
No harsh finality -
Just you, only you.
Here, we can do
Anything, anywhere -
World with no care
But what we make,
Holding what we take.

I wish you were here,
Circling in my sphere.
Touching the light,
The dark, the night
The day, whatever.
That darkness never
Will destroy you -
Nor destroy me, too.
Eyes staring, unclear -
I wish you were here.
